On 25 August 2025, Campbell Law welcomed our first law student in residency. Welcome to the team, Matthew Wootten!
Matthew is a 3L and Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program student at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
From Matthew:
"I served as a U.S. Army aviator for more than a decade before retirement. During my military career, I deployed twice and held leadership positions that demanded precision, discipline, and steady judgment. My service gave me a deep respect for preparation, professionalism, and accountability. Those values remain at the core of who I am and how I approach the practice of law.
I am excited to begin the next chapter of my career working with Attorney Campbell. This opportunity allows me to continue learning from experienced practitioners while contributing my own perspective and work ethic. My goal is to hone my skills further, apply the professionalism and proficiency I learned in the military to the practice of law, and serve clients with integrity, care, and dedication.
Looking ahead, I am eager to build a career defined by service and excellence. Just as I once served my country as a soldier, I now look forward to serving my clients as an advocate. Law is, at its heart, about people and trust. I am honored to be part of a profession where I can continue to uphold those principles every day."
