Do you have a salvage or rebuilt title from out of state? Chances are that you will have to pay double state fees in order to register the car in the State of Louisiana. Additionally, a physical inspection the vehicle will be required before a license plate can be issued.

If the title is branded "unrepairable" or "unrebuildable" it MAY not be titled in the State of Louisiana.

Please contact them ahead of time to make sure an officer is available to perform the inspection on your car. Please make sure to have all documents signed and notarized, proof of insurance, and proper US government issued identification.
