Legal Assistant
Vallrie Dorsey Law PLLC is seeking a highly organized, computer-savvy, and client-focused Legal Assistant to join our growing law firm.

We are a law firm focused on business law, estate planning, probate, intellectual property, trademark registrations, and bankruptcy law. We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who enjoys helping people and can work closely with attorneys and clients in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and strong customer service abilities are essential.
Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls from current and prospective clients.
Conduct conflict checks on all potential new clients.
Gather information from prospective clients during the intake process.
Monitor and manage follow-up email campaigns.
Maintain the firm's CRM and client database.
Schedule consultations and manage attorney and staff calendars.
Prepare engagement agreements and new client welcome packets.
Follow up with prospective clients who have not retained the firm.
Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Assist attorneys with case preparation and file management.
Monitor court deadlines and maintain case calendars.
Maintain accurate client records and case files.
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, attorneys, and staff.

Education
High School Diploma Required
Some College Preferred
