An awesome surprise visitor today! Our former intern, Nico Avila, stopped by to say hello. This young man is amazing--just a couple of years ago he was our marketing intern, forcing everyone to do Friday videos whether or not they wanted to lol. Now he heads a marketing group at Eli Lily, travels all over the country ... and did I mention he's only 23?? If I recall, at that age I was playing video games and sleeping on my friend's couch.

Nico was good enough to stop by before leaving on his next corporate trip to Manhattan. Can't wait to see where his impressive talents take him!

There are a number of things I enjoy about practicing law and owning a firm. Hands down, though, the coolest part of my job is being able to observe bright young people grow and flourish in their training and careers.

The past month has seen a lot change at Tyson Law, all of it good. Our paralegal extraordinaire, Blythe Miller, wrapped up her time at TLF, and is heading to begin her law school career in Florida. Gurleen Kaur, a former TLF undergraduate intern, has joined the firm as an associate attorney, after recently completing her legal studies.

Both of these young women are incredibly sharp, hardworking, and passionate about the law. I can't wait to see the impact they make as they continue to grow professionally.
