The one ☝️ piece of advice for getting into a fitness routine I would give after a lifetime of athletics and sports is:



Show up.

If you’re not consistent with the gym, the more you try to create a perfect workout or follow a perfect plan, the worse your outcomes will be.

This is mostly due to the simple fact that the more you think about it, the longer until you actually SHOW UP.

If you’re having a hard time getting to the gym and knowing what to do try this:

Lie to yourself. 🤥 Seriously. Start making your way there and commit to doing something, anything. Doesn’t matter what it is. “When I get there I’m going to do 10 push ups”

Once you start, you’ll do way more than that.

Remove all barriers. SHOW UP

Does it get more “Denver” than the Berkeley neighborhood? 🌄🏔️🚵‍♀️

Blending historical charm with contemporary wants, this northwest neighborhood encompasses a patchwork of Denver Squares and Victorians with modern townhomes and duplexes

 It is residential and feels in many ways like its own small town, but a stones throw to the city center and is anchored by many in Denver’s favorite (whether a Berkeley resident or not) Tennyson Street

Add sprawling green spaces, dog parks, and quick access to interstate 70 to get downtown or to the mountains, many find this to be THE neighborhood to live in Denver for everything from a first time home buyer, to a young family, to an empty nester settling down

Or a more conditioning based workout (same weights)

🧐What is going to happen in the Colorado housing🏡 market in 2025? Early indicators point to it looking like a balanced year. 

The market is slightly slanted towards buyers, but neither buyers nor sellers have much of an advantage right now. However, this can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood so if you want to check in on your case, reach out!

Most prognosticators have the interest rates floating in the 6’s this year, but they’ve certainly been wrong before. Lower rates will slant more advantage to sellers, where the same or higher rates will advantage a buyer in a sale. Rate buy downs are very common at this time to help buyers with the affordability of their mortgages. Will that trend continue through 2025?

The median closed price in Denver increased to $580,000 in 2024, which means the annual increase was about 3%. It’s reasonable to predict the same type of increase in 2025 with a balanced market

What this means as a buyer or seller: expect fairness and a give and take to your real estate transaction. 

While it’s impossible to predict exactly what lies ahead, if you follow me or work with me, I will keep you updated on current trends and you’ll be the first to know if market forces cause a shift.

I can’t remember a time I wasn’t striving for growth and excellence in my passions. Whether it was qualifying for consecutive United States Amateur Championships, owning a top 10 in the US gym ( - Men’s Health 2013), running businesses since 2007 in fields as different as professional sports, fitness training, software engineering, real estate, and golf coaching, I strive for the best.

This is at address, and it’s perfect to go from static—>dynamic

🎯Lead hip slightly forward —> proper hip turn
🎯Back arm supinated slightly —> arm folds properly
🎯Grip has 2 knuckles on left hand and V’s matching —> proper wrist hinge
🎯Spine tilted back slightly —> upper body turns behind the ball
🎯Trail shoulder beneath lead shoulder —> depth and allows supination of right arm in the back swing
🎯 Ball position —> Descending blow without sliding

Believe me, golf is hard enough even if you START here. No reason not to get your set up right. If you’re not sure, @ me and send a pic of you at set up

Stop ✋ wasting time

You’ve only got 30 minutes to 60 minutes to workout, right?

Your warm ups should be structured, challenging, and athletic

All of these movements shown test flexibility, balance, coordination, and strength while building stamina (muscular endurance).

A bunch of fitness jargon for they’re meant to build athleticism.

If you do 1 on 1 training with me you don’t get out of sneaky challenging AND rewarding moves like these

Pictured: 3 sets (superset style, rest between movements for quality if needed)

1) Single leg box step up x 10 each side
2) Turkish sit up x 6 each side
3) Single leg single arm airplane row x 10 each side

As we age, it isn’t enough to just hit your 5x5 lift and break a sweat. Your joints and brain need to be intimately involved in your training or you won’t stay as healthy as you want
