After 10+ years in this Harbor Club home at Lake Oconee, a family is saying goodbye — and moving all the way to their new place two miles down the road. 🙂

1030 Billy Mantle Lane is the largest home currently on the market under $600,000 in any gated golf community at Lake Oconee, and the only five-bedroom. Want to go for a swim in the pool? Maybe skip cooking for a night and eat at the clubhouse? You can walk to either in two minutes or less.

The house is set up for main floor living but comes with a massive rec or media room, wet bar, second fireplace and two more bedrooms downstairs in the finished basement. Roof and siding replaced in 2021, new flooring downstairs in 2024. Lawn maintenance is covered in the POA dues.

Access and convenience will drive another boom in Lake Oconee real estate, and the lake is growing to meet it. Putnam County already has the expanded US 441 carrying residents and weekenders from Atlanta straight to the front door of the lake. Now, with the widening of Lake Oconee Parkway (SR 44) and the development of Oconee Towne Center, Greene County is building its own front door at the I-20 interchange.
Three phases, 10.5 miles, roughly $184 million, and a new grocery store for Lake Oconee squarely in the conversation.
I flew the corridor last week to show you where it actually stands. Nothing has been announced about which grocery store chain is coming. When Jim Baker from developer, Baker and Lassiter, confirms it, I will too!

Owning true Lake Oconee lakefront doesn't have to start in the seven figures...or even the high sixes 👀

3BR / 2.5BA END-UNIT condo with community boat slips and a pool steps from your back porch. Enjoy morning coffee and sunset cocktails overlooking it all from a covered master porch — $399,900.

On a lake where waterfront usually means a big number, this is about the most affordable way to actually get on the water.

Full-time home or weekend escape, the hard part on Oconee is getting in. This is your open door. 🌅

I'm suppose to sell you on the luxury of Lake Oconee real estate. I'd rather sell you on the luxury of actually living here. Buy into the community...the real estate sells itself.

Not all Lake Oconee homeowners live here full time. But that doesn't mean the house isn't occupied. 🐿

RECENTLY SOLD — $1,215,000 | Lakefront Home on Lake Oconee

Closed! So happy for my sellers on this one — a beautiful lakefront home, just down the street from Lake Oconee Academy, now in great new hands.
I'd love to help with your next move — buying or selling.

I was born here. I live here. I sell here.

Two down, one listing to go on Parks Mill Drive for the hat trick! 🎉

1790 Parks Mill Drive is officially under contract — and this time I'm
representing the buyer. After last week's contract on 2020 Parks Mill,
only one listing remains on this quiet little lakefront drive.

My clients saw exactly what I see: good bones with an unbeatable
location. And this property has the one thing you can't add later —
true Lake Oconee waterfront.

There's something special about this corner of the lake. Drew and I
lived on Parks Mill for four years, and it was Shafer's first home.
You're so close to LOA you can almost touch it from your dock.

I can't wait to see what my client does with this house!

If you've had your eye on Parks Mill Drive, now is the time to call.
Let's keep the hot streak going.
