Thinking about using an “honor system” stand for your cottage food business?

Under Alabama’s Cottage Food Law, this is allowed if the stand is located on your own property. Cottage food products must still be sold directly to the consumer, so selling from off-site locations (like roadside stands away from your home or in stores) is not permitted.

Have questions about cottage food rules? We’re here to help!
