Thank you!

At their July 2017 meeting, members of the Guilford Paralegal Association voted to dissolve the Association. This was primarily the result of a chronic shortage of volunteers to keep us operating and producing high quality educational and professional programs, combined with declining membership over the past few years.

This is a heartfelt thank-you to each of our past and present members, officers, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and friends for your support of GPA since its inception in 1992.

Hundreds of paralegals in Guilford County and statewide have had the benefit of networking, professional development, and continuing education opportunities through GPA, and that is due to our members; our generous sponsors; attorneys, paralegals, and other professionals who have been extremely generous in sharing their time, experience, and knowledge with us; seminar sponsors and exhibitors; seminar attendees; numerous law firms that have supported us with financial contributions and meeting space and by encouraging and supporting their employees who contributed time, skills, and energy to GPA and Elon University School of Law for providing meeting space and technology resources for many of our meetings.

Our assets are being distributed to the North Carolina Paralegal Association, of which GPA has been a long-time affiliate.

NCPA will be hosting its 38th Annual Seminar & Meeting in Greensboro from March 22-24, 2018. We encourage our members and previous seminar attendees to attend this event and support the only statewide paralegal organization created and operated by paralegals, for paralegals. Keep up with NCPA events, publications, scholarship opportunities, and on-demand continuing education at www.ncparalegal.org.
