We are looking to add a highly driven attorney to focus on Family Law and/or Civil Litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about client advocacy and is eager to build a long-term career within a collaborative and supportive firm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of family law and/or civil litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal briefs.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Provide compassionate, strategic legal advice tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective case strategies.
• Stay current with developments in family law, litigation, and related practice areas.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 3–5 years of experience in Family Law and/or Civil Litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
• Admission, or eligibility for admission, to practice in the State of Wisconsin.

Hanaway Ross Law Firm is proud to support the Call of the Wild Rivers Art Show, celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Wild Rivers Act!

In 1965, this landmark legislation designated the Pike, Pine, and Popple Rivers—along with portions of other treasured waterways—as official "wild rivers" to preserve their natural beauty and protect them for future generations.

We were honored to send Attorney Christina L. Peterson to the art show this July, where she selected two incredible pieces by local artists to bring back to the firm. It was a wonderful opportunity to support an event that blends art, history, and conservation in such a meaningful way.

This year, Governor Tony Evers also officially proclaimed 2025 as the 60th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Wild Rivers Act, recognizing six decades of stewardship and the ongoing importance of protecting our natural resources.

Here’s to preserving the wild beauty of Wisconsin’s rivers—for today and for the future.
