CLOSED MATTERS
If you are a former client, the file for your closed matter either has been or will be transferred to the responsible attorney's new law firm, or to Front Range Law as custodian. You may retrieve the closed file if you wish by contacting the responsible attorney or Front Range Law. Closed files are stored for seven years, or ten years only if you received a letter from CHJW stating a retention of 10 years, from the date the file closed on conclusion of the matter. Closed files are then destroyed at the end of the storage period. You closed file will be stored and destroyed on the same schedule from when it closed upon completion of your matter.
