🎉 Best news of the day! Lorenzo's application to become an Accredited Department of Justice Representative is officially approved.

Many of you already know Lorenzo, since he has been a dedicated volunteer for Immigrant Connection GR for more than 2 years. We're thrilled to welcome him in this new role of providing low-cost immigration legal services to members of our community.

🎉We’re in AWE! Guess who was just awarded a $300,000 grant from the United States Citizenship and immigration Services?

WE WERE! 👏👏👏

The grant was awarded to us in partnership with the Literacy Center of West Michigan.

Here’s how the partnership will help immigrants in West Michigan become US Citizens:

The Literacy Center of West Michigan will provide ESL and citizenship classes.

Immigrant Connect GR (us!) will provide the legal services.

Together, we will create a huge impact for immigrants in West Michigan.

We cannot thank the USCIS enough for recognizing our community impact and the value we provide to immigrants who are in desperate need of low-cost legal services.

🤯 This federal grant will allow us to serve 100 additional clients per year. That’s more than a 20% increase in the number of immigrants we can assist every year.

Our hearts are bursting!

Immigrant Connection GR has grown into a non-profit that helps more immigrants than we ever imagined possible.

And being awarded this grant is a HUGE DEAL.

Because it affirms how valuable our services are. 🙌

We are literally improving the lives of hundreds of immigrants in our West Michigan community. That’s something we’re crazy proud of.
