National Pasta Day is today, October 17, and a cool fall Saturday in Granbury is a good one to get behind.

Today's National Noodle Day, which is a fine excuse to make something warm on a fall evening in Granbury. Chicken noodle, a pot of spaghetti, whatever's already in your pantry works.

Here's something I've noticed after 25 years of walking through homes in the DFW Metroplex — the kitchen is where everyone ends up. Buyers will open the cabinets, check the stove, and picture a big pot on the burner before they ever look at the bedrooms.
