Managing Partner Amir Sadaghiani won a DMV DWI Refusal Hearing today for a client. The case stemmed from a property damage motor vehicle accident from Christmas Eve 2025 and a misdemeanor criminal charge of DWI. Amir successfully argued to the Administrative Law Judge that the arresting officers did not allow the driver access to his cell phone - preventing him from calling an attorney to request legal advice prior to submitting to the chemical breath test. This error resulted in dismissal of the refusal. Those familiar with this area of practice know how difficult it is to prevail at DMV hearings.

In light of scholarship season, we're spotlighting the Sadaghiani Family Pine Bush Runners Scholarship Fund this , which joined CFOSR in October 2025.

Established to recognize graduating seniors from Pine Bush High School who participate in cross country and/or track and field, this scholarship celebrates student-athletes who demonstrate dedication to their sport, commitment to personal growth, and pride in their school community.

On June 19, 1865, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their emancipation — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Today, we honor this major historical event through reflection, education, and celebration.
