A Notary is someone who attests something to make it legal or authenticate. Here are a few things to never ask a noatary:

“I don’t have a regular ID, just a temorary,"
"I can’t be there,"
"Can I sign for them since they are here
and "can you change the date"

and Notaries should never agree to do these things. There are legal ways make corrections as well.
