Hi family and friends this is Rhonda ,Anthony's sister, the family is going through a difficult time at the moment, please help if you can, every bit will make it easier for them to deal with this challenge:

A few weeks ago my sister in law Shannon , Anthony's wife, was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer in her neck, chest and under arms.

She is being treated with multiple rounds of chemotherapy, hoping to be clear by the end of October, pending her next PET scan.

Medical Bill's and insurance are expensive, when diagnosed she was on Cobra insurance and it's very very expensive, it would be nice to try and provide some financial relief to the family during this awful time

Our goal is for Shannon to not have the stress and pressure related to finances so she can focus her valuable energy on her 6 year son Cameron ,getting well and fighting this horrible disease!

This is Shannon's words informing family and friends the importance of self care and awareness:

One week ago today, I got the results. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I am told it's the best of the worst...if I have to have cancer, this is the one to have. I am told I will be treated with chemo and I will most likely lose my hair. Ironic that I just spent a year in quarantine, focusing on self-care and growing out my hair and eyebrows ‍♀️I'm not posting for pity, but for awareness and for my own self- reflection on a journey I had never imagined having to take.

Back in December, I felt a small lump in my left neck/clavicle area. It slowly became larger and I knew it was a lymph node. I gave it a few months, because I know lymph nodes swell and shrink with infection. By February it had grown larger. I went to the doctor and was met with several months if lab work, ultrasounds, xrays, and fine needle aspirate.....all normal. Had I accepted the 'normal', I would have regretted it. I pushed the doctor to keep looking and after another ultrasound in May, we found that I had several enlarged lymph nodes on both sides now. He immediately scheduled me for a surgical biopsy.

This week I have 6 appointments....scans, bone marrow biopsy, Echo, lung function tests....chemotherapy port placement... it's all very overwhelming now, but I think I'm still numb and in shock over a cancer diagnosis.

No matter what, I got this . I have awesome friends and family here for me and the most amazing husband to lean on whenever I need
