We are very happy to announce an addition to our firm. Attorney Jim Phillips, Jr.. Jim brings his talents of legal practice in the following areas: family law, criminal defense, traffic and DUI defense, and juvenile practice. Jim is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his law degree from Campbell University in 2008. He is licensed to practice law in both Virginia and North Carolina. A native of Hampton Roads, Jim has served the local community as President of the Hampton Rotary Club, as a member of the local YMCA Board of Management, and for six years as a Board Member of HELP, Inc. (Hampton Roads Ecumenical Lodgings & Provisions). Jim can be reached, primarily, at our Newport News location at 757-223-9007. We are happy to have him on our team!

We are very happy to announce an addition to our motley crew of.. wait.. this isn't the Capt. Barnette, Pirate at Large page is it? .. to our esteemed team of litigators and welcome Matthew G. Finley to the Firm. Matt brings his talents and experience as a prosecutor and civil litigator to our offices and we look forward to the good work he will accomplish for his clients. We want to extend our appreciation to our interns Nathaniel & Andrew for their time, dedication and hard work over the last eight weeks. These two were interested in learning new skills for their future endeavors and our office was happy to mentor them. They are both Ware Academy students and will be returning to school next week. They have been an absolute joy to have in the office and will be missed!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Senior, Mariah Aubrey! Mariah is the daughter of our longtime paralegal, Amanda. Mariah has remained strong and excited for her future despite the heartbreaking loss of her senior year and walk across the stage. She has spent her time at our office learning new things and being mentored by Steve. She plans to attend school in the fall to begin her studies for her passion for Wildlife Conservation Biologist.

We want to extend our thoughts and Congrats to all our seniors in the community. We are all in this together and as a community for our students, small business and fellow community members we will remain strong!

We are very happy to announce that the Newport News Office will be relocated to 610 Thimble Shoals Boulevard, Suite 401A in the City Center Complex. We look forward to assisting our current and future clients in the new office beginning on May 1, 2019. We will still be open in the current location until April 30, 2019.
