***PUBLIC ASSISTANCE NEEDED***

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information regarding a missing juvenile.

Brooklyn Brown from Malvern, Iowa has been reported missing and was last seen leaving the area of Chantry Elementary Park at 2:12 PM in the below pictured van that has Iowa license plates. Plate number is unknown.

If you have information about Brooklyn’s whereabouts call the Mills County dispatch center 712-527-4871.

It is a violation of Iowa code 321.369 (Putting debris on the highway) to blow grass clippings onto the roadway.

This can be a dangerous situation with motorcycles as it can cause the motorcycle to reduce traction and lead to loss of control.

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office proudly joins law enforcement agencies across the nation in recognizing National Police Week, observed May 10–16, 2026. This week serves as a time to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the men and women who serve in law enforcement, while remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

National Police Week is a solemn reminder of the risks law enforcement officers face each day in service to their communities. We are grateful for the dedication and professionalism of our deputies, corrections officers, dispatchers, and all public safety personnel who serve our community every day.
