We are proud to support and partner with Alpine Legal Services, whose work advances justice by providing free legal aid to some of our community’s most vulnerable residents—including crime victims and older adults—services that might otherwise be out of reach.

The Healthy Community Fund helps build a stronger, more connected community. Thank you to Pitkin County voters who have affirmed the mission of the Healthy Community Fund since 2002: supporting local nonprofits and ensuring access to critical health and human services for people who live and work in Pitkin County.

Colorado Legal Services will again be hosting a Spring Virtual Senior Law Series. Honoring Senior Law Day's motto of "Living Informed and Putting the Pieces Together: Life, Wealth, Wellness, and Success." This series will bring together accomplished and respected professionals to present informative virtual seminars for seniors, adult children, friends, caregivers of seniors, and community members on legal and related topics.Registration is free. We are always looking for dedicated and passionate community members to serve on our board. We work diligently to advance justice in our community and improve lives through legal advocacy, outreach, and education. Beyond our needs, we support all the nonprofits in our region working hard to improve lives. Whether you want to work with us or another nonprofit, we invite you to learn more about volunteering on a nonprofit Board of Directors on Thursday, January 29th from 6-8 p.m. at the Glenwood Springs Community Center. This training is free, dinner will be provided along with childcare and interpretation if needed.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event at the Eagle County Community Center in El Jebel, Colorado. Presentations from Alpine Legal Services are at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. They are called Planning your Living Will and The Responsibilities of a Power of Attorney.
