“Holographic” wills, although not recommended, are valid in Arizona but must meet the following requirements: (1) signed by the deceased person; and (2) all the essential terms (what goes to whom) are in the deceased person’s own handwriting. If a Will is NOT in deceased person’s own handwriting, then MUST be signed by deceased person AND signed by two witnesses.
