This Wednesday, the Queen Creek Town Council votes on an **$840.6 million budget** — a major jump from last year focused on the things residents care about most: **water, roads, and public safety.**

✨ Here’s what stands out:

• 💧 **$177.5M toward water resources**
Including the final payment on the town’s massive Harquahala water acquisition and infrastructure to bring that water into Queen Creek long-term.

• 🚧 **$71M for transportation improvements**
Road widening, new traffic signals, drainage upgrades, and a new bridge over Sonoqui Wash are all planned.

• 🚓 **$106M for public safety**
Including the new police headquarters plus additional police, fire, utilities, and public works staffing.

• 🏡 **Property taxes remain frozen**
For the 4th year in a row, existing homeowners won’t see an increase — with the tax rate projected to drop to $1.40 per $100 valuation by the end of the freeze period.

• 🌴 **56% of the entire budget goes to infrastructure**
