Grant Dean - Broadstone Realty LLC - Austin TX

Grant Dean - Broadstone Realty LLC - Austin TX Residential & Land Sales for Austin TX & Surrounding Cities I've lived in Texas all my life. I grew up in Houston and moved to the Austin area in 1993.

At that time Round Rock was a small dot on the map. Once Dell came into town the area grew and become one of the fastest growing cities around. I attended McNeil High School, class of 97 where I played tennis. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin May 2003 with a degree in Health Promotion & Fitness minor in Nutrition. I worked in the health & fitness industry for over 10 years (deter

mined to use my degree,) from selling fitness equipment, personal training and corporate wellness. I loved working with people one on one and developing a true friendship with all of my clients while they met their goals. When the recession hit in 2009 I changed careers and went into real estate where I used my relationship skills to help banks sell foreclosed and distressed properties to investors. As Central Texas recovered my cliental expanded to include first time home buyers, individuals or families ready to sell their home and those looking at land for recreation or building. Recently we moved from Round Rock to Georgetown and love it. Being in the country on one acre, having gardens, fruit trees and chickens has really given my family enjoyment. I'm blessed to be married to my best friend Emily, who is an Aggie and have two wonderful children plus a border collie named Bullet. We love the outdoors and going camping, hunting and traveling to see family that live in Texas. Whatever your goal is I can help. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet you, helping you find your own piece of Texas. Be sure and Google my business and read what others have said about their experience with me. I look forward to meeting you.

As a family we have been watching Extracted, which puts normal people out in the woods with limited gear as their families watch and do their best to send them supplies. Whoever lasts the longest in the competition gets 250K. We did our own challenge with the kids, gave them each a Fero Rod and told them they had to start a fire, or they would have to sleep outside in the fort. They both passed :)

When you are driving as much as I am you need to fill up the tank with gas on a regular basis. If I am not near Costco, I always pull into a QT. Fuel is reasonably priced, but it is their fresh ground and brewed coffee that keeps me coming back. $2.26 for any pick you want. The Nitro brew options are cool, but I keep it black.

My friend Noah gave me a cutting of his fig tree. I dug a hole, planted it, and hope it will make it. Bring on the rain! In addition, I came to appreciate the pike ax, we have a lot of rock in our soil, and I was able to break it up and clear it out.

Finishing up reading "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius who co-ruled the Roman Empire alongside his adoptive brother, Lucius Verus, from 161 until Verus's death in 169. From 169 to 180, he was the sole emperor. He is considered one of the most well known Stoics and teaches to control our emotions and make decisions based on logic. This is a book I will want to read again.

Great real estate conference earlier this week — a few key takeaways:
1) Run an insurance-claims search during the feasibility period and confirm repairs were completed.
2) Demand for small–mid industrial space (20–50K sq ft) is strong.
3) Texas will likely need about 3x the current power capacity to support incoming data centers.
4) Office and multifamily rents are down from oversupply, so tenants can often negotiate free rent or tenant allowances.

If you’re wondering whether to sell or hold your property, call me and let us review your specific situation to decide what’s best for you.

Thank you for all your help! We switched to T-Mobile and it was extremely easy. Saved a lot of money, and got new phones for free, plus Hulu & Netflix. We went to At&t before deciding and gave them the chance to keep a 20+year customer but they did not offer anything, period.
