It looks like we’ve got some inclement weather rolling in, so this is your friendly reminder to take a few quick steps to protect your home before things get spicy out there.
Because listen… your home is not just where you live — it’s your biggest asset, and a little prep now can save you a whole lot of stress later.
Here are a few easy things to knock out today:
✅ Cover outdoor faucets
✅ Disconnect hoses
✅ Insulate exposed pipes (garage + exterior walls)
✅ Bring plants and pets inside
✅ Open sink cabinets and drip faucets overnight
✅ Check your heater + change your air filter
✅ Move patio furniture and secure anything loose
✅ Know where your main water shutoff is (just in case)
And if you’re leaving town — set your thermostat to at least 55° and don’t shut the heat off completely.
