Today, I'm celebrating 20 years as a Realtor. All 20 of them with the same office.

My clients are AMAZING! I'm so fortunate that I'm at the point in my career where 95% of my transactions come from repeat clients or personal referrals. This allows me to really focus more on my clients needs than looking for my next meal. I'm fortunate to have and to have had awesome team members (thank you Christina and in the past Mike, my dad, David and of course Debi). Being able to say "I have someone for that" when it comes to attorneys, lenders, inspectors, etc. also makes things a lot easier for myself and my clients.

I recently joked that the only thing in real estate that hasn't changed in the last 20 years is my business photo...maybe I'll even change that this year.

Those that know me, know I am fascinated by numbers. So....of the 743 transaction sides:

- 67 communities with the top being;
*Sycamore at 183
*DeKalb at 128
*Elgin at 47
*Genoa and St. Charles ties with 36
*Geneva at 30
*Batavia at 29

- Top two counties were:
* DeKalb with 385 (note, there still isn't a BW office here, and the year I started, the whole company did 23 transaction sides in DeKalb County)
* Kane with 261

These two twenty somethings are crushing it. Last week we closed on their old home and after paying their welcome back to Sycamore tax, they closed on their new home. Since then it's been The Jefferson's Theme Song on repeat. CONGRATS again the Sean Peek and Hannah Peek. THANK YOU!! I really can't express enough how satisfying it is to be able to help all of the Gen Z adults that I've worked with this year in their process of making big moves!

Congrats to Sean and on selling their home! Onward and upward. My job is always easier and more enjoyable with awesome clients. I got to represent the last seller when Sean and Hannah bought this house and now I was fortunate enough to represent Sean Peek and Hannah when they were the sellers.

And who says the 4th quarter is slow? We went active in October and were in multiple offers the first weekend we were on the market. Buyers buy when buyers are ready to buy. ;-). Call me if you are looking to buy or sell.
