****WEATHER UPDATE****

Due to the severe winter weather and deteriorating road conditions across the area, we are urging residents to use caution today. Roads are snow-covered and hazardous in many places due to the wind drifting the snow, travel should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.

If you must travel, please make sure you are prepared. Keep a fully charged phone with you at all times and ensure your vehicle has a full tank of gas in case of delays or emergencies.

Because of the weather conditions, the Knox County Courthouse will be closed today.

We encourage everyone to stay safe, stay warm, and limit travel as much as possible until conditions improve.
