Kristen Thompson is the team leader for the Thompson Home Team of Better Homes & Garden Real Estate. Kristen has been a Realtor® since 2012, quickly becoming one of the highest performing Realtor® in the Alachua County area. Kristen loves being a Realtor® and helping customers accomplish their goals while making one of the largest financial decisions of their life.

Kristen prides herself on being a lifelong learner and earning an MBA. Kristen loves living in North Central Florida and has made life long roots here. She is actively engaged in many volunteer organizations such as Night to Shine, Xtraordinary Joy and Children’s Miracle Network. Kristen previously worked in the cardiac cath lab, which gave her so much pride that she was helping people every day. Randal Thompson is the Marketing Coordinator for the Thompson Home Team. Randal grew up in the North Central Florida area. He decided to stay local because family is very important to him. He grew up getting to spend weekends with his family, enjoying fishing and other outdoor activities. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After owning and operating a successful family-owned car dealership he decided to join his wife Kristen Thompson, who has been a Realtor in Gainesville since 2012.

He decided that his talents could be better utilized by joining the Thompson Home Team, helping customers buy and sell their homes. Specifically, Randal is interested in using his skills in marketing and research. He quickly became a vital member of the Thompson Home Team by streamlining marketing efforts for buyers and sellers. He is also a relentless researcher solving many problems that arise through the buying and selling of homes. He continues to enjoy spending time with his family which now includes his two girls, Bailey and Payton.

Amy Thompson is the Transaction Manager for the Thompson Home Team. Once Kristen has negotiated your contract, Amy will use her expertise to ensure you have a smooth transaction from contract to closing. Amy has worked with industry titans that have helped her hone an eye for detail and amass knowledge in different segments of the real estate industry. This background and well-rounded knowledge of the closing process puts customers in a position of strength that has, many times, paved the way to a timely closing, and avoiding a contract cancellation. For 11 years Amy worked alongside a managing partner, as a commercial litigation legal assistant, with a top 20 international law firm. Exceeding the expectations of elite legal minds who demand precision, the practice of confidentiality and meeting contractual deadlines has served as a solid base to smoothly transition into her career in real estate. In 2014, Amy began working with the nation's largest independent real estate title search company, transitioning from a title searcher to a title processor. In these roles, she developed a broad knowledge of the chain of title and the necessary documentation to meet the underwriters’ requirements to execute a title policy. FUN FACT: While Amy shares the same last name as Randal & Kristen, we are not related. We do believe she fits perfectly into the Thompson Home Team :)

Payton & Bailey Thompson is the team Mascot for the Thompson Home Team. Payton and Bailey Thompson are a vital part of the team. They keep mom and dad motivated and happy. They bring their expertise of cuteness, cuddles, and smiles.
