Aubree brings energy, organization, and a genuine love for people to the firm. With a background in customer service, medical settings, and administrative support, she knows how to keep things running smoothly while making sure everyone who walks through the door feels welcome and taken care of. She thrives in fast-paced environments, juggling scheduling, communication, and a dozen moving parts at once—always with a friendly attitude!

Having lived in nine different states growing up, Aubree eventually chose Gainesville as the place to call home. In June 2023, she married her husband, Garrett, who works in home remodeling and renovation. Between Aubree’s creative ideas and Garrett’s skills in bringing them to life, there’s usually some sort of project happening around their house.

When she’s not at work, Aubree is rarely sitting still. She loves spending time outdoors with her dog, Mokka, experimenting in the kitchen, and capturing life through photography. Whether it’s traveling somewhere new, sitting on the beach, or tackling another home project, Aubree is always looking for the next adventure—and probably convincing Garrett to help make it happen.

Bill previously operated his own law practice in Miramar Beach, Florida, for 25 years while also managing multiple business ventures. Through his practice handling matters involving probate, trusts, wills, deeds, contracts, disputes, and appeals, Bill has earned a reputation for achieving favorable outcomes, cultivating long-term relationships, and delivering high-quality, tailored legal services to meet each client’s needs.

Gerald "Jake" Hunter
Legal Secretary

Before becoming an invaluable member of The Toney Law Firm team, Jake gained extensive experience in Human Resources through his work at both the University of Florida and The Bloomington Company. As an HR Generalist at the Bloomington Company, he was tasked with recruiting, enforcing company policies, and documenting employee performance and terminations. During his time at the University of Florida, he further improved his expertise in employee relations, onboarding, and training, helping to support one of the largest academic institutions in the country. These experiences equipped Jake with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal abilities that make him a significant asset to The Toney Law Firm.

A proud North Central Florida native, Jake resides on his family’s farm in High Springs. Beyond his work at the firm, Jake is an artist at heart, expressing his creativity through painting, baking, cooking, and caring for his cows, as well as spending quality time with his family.

Andrea Raye
Paralegal

Andrea is a native of a town called Johnson in the city of Hawthorne, FL. She received her Associate of Science in Legal Assisting and Paralegal Studies, then later, her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University where she is an active member of the Omega Nu Lambda Honors Society. Andrea is currently enrolled at Florida State University Law School to continue her journey to become an attorney. She has prior work experience in family, criminal, personal injury, and probate law matters.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys traveling and creating new experiences and memories, reading, watching television, music and dancing, spending time with loved ones, cooking, and encouraging others, as well as assisting youth with furthering their education.
