April looked a little like this 🌿🏡✨

A month full of front porch views, backroad drives, beautiful homes, coffee-fueled days, family moments squeezed in between showings, and chasing the kind of life people move here for.

Somewhere between contracts, mountain views, muddy boots, and “just one more house,” there were a lot of reminders that this job is really about people, memories, and finding the places that feel like home.

Northern Virginia in the spring just hits different. 🌸

Years ago, before this phase of my life, I went on a short vacation down to visit family in Florida. I remember cleaning the house and packing my suitcase, pausing at the front door to take it all in before I left. The house was clean, no dishes, no laundry, no chaos. That moment sat with me.

Is this what I wanted the next 10 years of my life to look like? No. I knew something was missing. A happy chaos, laughter, a mess that made memories.

Being a mother gave me more than all of that. A sense of purpose, a fulfillment watching my kids grow into good humans and discovering a whole new depth of myself.
They helped me build a resilience that I carry into my business. These are the years we live for, and I love being called, Mom.

Crockett park has a fishing pier!

🎣 Exciting Progress at C.M. Crockett Park!

We’re getting closer to opening our brand-new fishing pier, and we can’t wait to welcome you back out to the water!

Over the past few weeks, crews have been hard at work completing grading, installing sod, and preparing for the final handrail installation. While a bit of rock beneath the surface slowed progress (turns out Mother Nature had a few surprises for us!), we’re now in the final stretch. Handrails are expected to be installed soon, followed by final inspections.

This new pier replaces the previous structure that became unusable after Winter Storm Fern and we’re proud to bring back an even better experience for our community.

✨ What makes this pier special?
• ADA-accessible pathway for inclusive access
• A safe, welcoming space for anglers of all ages and abilities
• A renewed opportunity to enjoy the outdoors at one of our favorite parks

The pier will remain closed until handrails are fully installed and inspections are complete, but we’re almost there!

Stay tuned for updates and an official opening announcement coming soon. We’re looking forward to that first cast with all of you. 🎣
