PARADISE GONE WRONG

1998-Lesley Moore Anderson relocates from Racine, WI to Fulton, MS with her 5 children. The move was encouraged by her roommate (friend of her ex husband Jeff) in Wisconsin that she should move to MS and start over with her family. He told her his parent’s property was beautiful, lived near a lake and had access to the Marina w a boat. When the family arrived they find deplorable campers on the property, not suitable for anyone to live in.

2000-2001 The Roommate gives multiple conflicting stories regarding their disappearance. He claimed Lesley ran off with a truck driver after taking the kids to an orphanage in Tupelo, MS. The Cartel took them to Mexico and they left to go back to Scotland where Lesley is from. All these stories are from the first year they disappeared, none have been supported with any evidence.

March 2000-Lesley registers her car in Fulton showing she was still actively maintaining her life and responsibilities.

April 2000-Lesley and Rachel, Cameron and Kyle disappear.

2000-The roommate buys a pallet of tar, digs a massive hole on the property, buries a storm shelter and now has a cement pad over it.

2001-The family; Jeff the Father of all children, Trenna the Aunt and Grandmother Nancy travel from Indiana to Fulton to bring home Greg and Stephanie. Lesley’s car was sitting there in the middle of a field abandoned on his parents property. Greg and Stephanie were so happy to see us, 5 min later they are terrified, they have to tell the roommate we are there. He came out of camper yelling we would k*** them like we did to their siblings, if they came home with us. The police were there by now and they asked them if they wanted to go, he was screaming things we would do to them and we were told by police they were at legal age to decide even with their disabilities. They were crying and said no…we will stay here. Greg and Stephanie both receive SSI for their disabilities.

2021-The family FINALLY received their school records, showing the last days the kids were in school; Rachel April 5th, Cameron April 7th and Kyle April 10th.

Present Day-26 years later there are no leads what happened to the Anderson family; no school transfers, no Social Security hits, no taxes filed. We believe Greg and Stephanie are aware what happened and have been traumatized by his fabricating stories. How would 2 disabled adults understand that we would k*** them, unless they seen and been threatened before.

If anyone has ANY info no matter how small, please come forward. Sharing this post helps keep their story active and may reach someone who knows something.

Today Rachel Marie would have celebrated her 40th birthday. Leslie, Rachel, Cameron, and Kyle are always in our thoughts and prayers. We are holding onto the hope for justice and closure. 4 family members all missing days apart, it's clear they never left the property. Please share our story.

Thank you to everyone who continues to remember Lesley and the kids. It means more than we can put into words.

We are still holding onto hope and praying for the day justice is finally served, and for Greg and Stephanie to be reunited with their family.

We know we haven’t been as active these past few years, but please know your support has never gone unnoticed. It’s just been hard to keep showing up when there are no answers and no progress.

Every April brings the same heartbreak all over again. Birthdays and holidays come and go—we get through them—but the kids and Lesley are never forgotten. Not for a single moment.

It has now been TWENTY-SIX YEARS since the Anderson siblings and their mother disappeared from 757 Scenic Hills Drive in Fulton, Mississippi!

The Andersons’ mother, Lesley, and father, Jeff, split up in 1997. Jeff Anderson moved to Rising Sun, Indiana and Lesley Allen Anderson moved to Itawamba County, Mississippi. Jeff Anderson had legally adopted Lesley’s older children, Chris, Stephanie, and Greg. Jeff and Lesley also had three children together: Rachel, Cameron, and Kyle.

Lesley moved to the Fulton, Mississippi area after being told by her roommate/ex-boyfriend that his family owned a marina and they would have work. Obviously, this turned out to be a lie.
When Jeff and Lesley separated, Chris was old enough to move out on his own and did so. Stephanie and Greg, who are both mentally handicapped, moved to Fulton, Mississippi with their mother. Rachel, Cameron, and Kyle also moved with their mother to Fulton.

In the divorce agreement, it was decided by the judge that the children were to call their father every Saturday. The calls became less and less frequent over their time living in Mississippi. Jeff Anderson was attempting to work out details for his scheduled visitation with the children during the summer of 2000, so he tried making contact and was told that Lesley had left with the children and had not told anyone where she was planning to go. Lesley’s roommate/ex-boyfriend told Jeff that Lesley, Rachel, Cameron, and Kyle left with a truck driver in the middle of the night and he was left to care for Stephanie and Greg. Another story the roommate/ex-boyfriend told was that they left in Lesley's 1981 Chevy Caprice station wagon, which was found to be on the property months after their disappearance. The stories continued to change over time; however, one fact remained: THE ANDERSON SIBLINGS AND THEIR MOTHER WERE/ARE MISSING!

Jeff Anderson had to report his children missing in his hometown as he found it difficult to get any help from local law enforcement in Mississippi at the time. The Anderson siblings and Lesley have had zero contact with anyone since April of 2000. Letters and documents provided by the Andersons’ extended family show that they had a great relationship with their father and missed him and his extended family.

In January of 2022, Fulton Grammar School finally provided the attendance record for the Andersons. It is unclear the exact date of Lesley's disappearance; however, it appears that the last time Rachel was seen was April 5th, 2000. That was her last date of attendance. Kyle was last seen at school on April 7th, 2000. Cameron's last date of attendance was April 10th, 2000.

There have been no sightings of the Anderson Siblings or their mother since that time. Stephanie and Greg Anderson still live on the property their family vanished from.

Every time I think about this day it makes me sick. I hope Itawamba county will clean up the mess they created.
