Incredibly saddened!🙏🏼😢

The Houston Professional Fire Fighters Association is heartbroken to learn of the passing of Dr. David Persse.

For nearly three decades as Houston’s EMS director, Dr. Persse worked closely with the firefighters and paramedics who respond to our neighbors calls for help every day. A former paramedic himself, he understood their work and earned their trust and respect. His knowledge of emergency response was unmatched, and when disaster struck, he was the calm in the storm.

To us, Dr. Persse was a trusted colleague and friend. We will miss him deeply, and our hearts are with his wife, children and grandchildren.
