I got to be a witness and address a judge today 👨⚖️…
Marco and his wife MJ were referred over to and I this summer. They had a journey unlike any other to get to the finish line:
—> The appraisal came in $20k under value on the first home they got into contract in September. We tried to renegotiate terms with the seller, but couldn’t come to an agreement and chose to cancel and go our separate ways - but the seller refused to sign the cancellation and refund $3,350 deposit - 100% in violation of their signed contract!! 😡
We helped walk them through the small claims process (never done that before), how to serve the seller, and today I sat with him from 8:30 AM until 3 PM to have the case heard in front of the judge.
The honorable judge ruled in our favor after hearing the facts of the case (final case of the day) and now our clients are getting their $$ back right before Christmas! 🎄 🥳
