Hey everyone...this year will be our 17th Annual Christmas Party for the residents Safe Alternatives to Violent Environments...I will be posting the flyer soon for donations but wanted to start asking early. We need gifts for women, small or large, in quantities of 12...if anyone has connections with any businesses that can donate that would be great. We always need cash donations for pizza, drinks, etc. and $5 or $10 gift cards for any store, restaurant, fast food etc. Stocking stuffers for kids and adults are also great and helpful. We will take any donation small or large and make it work. All item donations must be new items and unwrapped.

Narika Helpline Hours Are Expanding!
We are now a 12-Hour Helpline!

Narika helpline is now answered live from 8 AM-8 PM PST, Monday through Fridays.

If you or someone you know are experiencing harm from their partner or spouse, please call our confidential helpline at 1-800-215-7308 to speak to trained DV advocates.

We believe this expansion is a critical step forward in offering culturally responsive care for survivors, especially those who are unable to reach us during business hours.

Our deepest gratitude first and foremost to our amazing direct service volunteers who have made this possible. When you all step up, we create communities of care!

Huge shout out also to our dedicated team and Board. And of course to our generous donors, allies and supporters, who empower us every step of the way!

We are thrilled to offer the first of our economic empowerment workshop series for 2024.

Join us on on Saturdays, February 10 and February 24 for workshops that will help you build your financial independence. This series is offered by Narika and YWCA.

The workshops are free and open to all. We especially encourage folks seeking healing and rebuilding to join us.

Attendees are encouraged to attend all workshops but may sign up for individual sessions. English will be the primary mode of instruction.

It’s that time of year again! Newark Police Department is collecting unwrapped toys for children in need. NPD partners with local nonprofit organizations CALICO and SAVE who provide services for abuse and domestic violence survivors. Thank you for your support. Toys can be dropped off to the NPD Lobby beginning November 27th.
