GOD is so GOOD!!
It's amazing how I can get in the way so easily. It also amazes me how easy I can get complacent, forgetful or just lazy for as busy as I am, but, God knows and understands.

I know you have the same feelings. We all see those ministers, their families and their churches struggling to find the rich blessings because of human issues.

For over twenty years www.shepherdsfriend.net has been reaching out to small church pastors, leadership and churches, helping them with CONTACTS, TIME MANAGEMENT and FUNDING.
Here's the hurtful issue that we all ignore in our lives, WE DON'T CARE ENOUGH! We fail to share resources that could make a difference. The stranger on the street, the struggling church member, family members, work associates, co-laborers in the ministry etc.
What will you do about one of these next time? Will you stand in the gap? Or simply blend into the nothing... and do nothing!!!!

Lord, help us today.....

Is your life controlled by a secular job, visitations, Church property, benevolence ministry, wife and family, sermon preparation, etc? Are you so busy you can’t seem to plan anything, just putting out fires? If this is you… THERE IS HELP!

Is It Just Lip Service?

I have some questions, and would love to get some honest answers!

1. As Christians, should the local church get involved with a couple who are on the verge of separation?
2. If you were confronted to come along side someone in a sticky situation, would you really help?
3. Someone you love, ie child, niece or nephew, brother or sister; needs guidance, a bit of money, and some of your time. Would you think that they would be worth your precious resources?
4. A loved one lives on the opposite side of the country and is dying! Do you think calling a local church near them would be easy or hard to accomplish? Do you think Christians would want to help?
5. Should Deacons, Elders, Pastors be held to paying forward the acts of love? Or are all of us just as responsible?
6. Does the actor Tyler Perry have a bigger humanitarian hear than every day Christians should have?
7. With today's technology, do you think the church phone should be answered by someone on call from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week?
8. Is today's technology making the church more available to people, or is it hindering connection?

Luke 12:48 "...When someone has been given much, much will be required in return..."

I know this is last minute, but if this speaks to your heart, we would love to see you there! God Bless!

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

May God bless you with wisdom in 2016!
