🚨 TPS EL SALVADOR UPDATE
As of September 14, 2026, USCIS states that Salvadorans currently under TPS remain protected until DHS makes an official announcement.
✅ TPS protection continues for now.
⚠️ DHS has not announced a final extension or termination.
⚠️ No new notice has been published in the Federal Register.
⚠️ USCIS has not issued updated instructions regarding expired Employment Authorization Documents or Form I-9.
This does not yet confirm a six-month extension through March 9, 2027. Do not rely on rumors or assume that an expired work permit is automatically sufficient for employment verification.
