It was exciting to officially welcome The Downtown Creamy to the Bullard Building recently when I popped in for lunch. Delicious wraps, paninis and even sweet (and savory) crepes. And it wouldn't be a creamery without gelato which is outstanding (My recommendation: The tiramisu gelato).

Prices are very reasonable and there was a lot of foot traffic on a coolish (not typical "ice cream weather") day. Programs like these are crucial for first-time homebuyers. Housing costs are a function of supply and demand, so home prices can’t be expected to go down, at least in the short term. In addition to working to create a greater supply of housing options, helping people get into the market with programs like these is crucial. Government has to look at and encourage all options to make housing more affordable.
