A little newer than most Marblehead history.

Whittier Road was laid out as a small seven-lot subdivision in the late 1980s, with homes positioned along the slope of Beacon Hill to take advantage of views toward Peach’s Point and the ocean.

At the end of the road sits 23 Whittier — a Nantucket-style shingle home that feels right at home in its coastal Marblehead setting.

Congratulations to our clients on a beautiful new home — and always great working alongside Haley Paster Scimone who represented them on the brokerage side.

Meet Lisa Ohl.

Lisa joins Wise & Jack with 30 years of experience in residential and commercial real estate and lending. She’s also run her own freelance paralegal business and has the kind of experience that allows her to anticipate what lenders need, spot issues early, and bring a confidence to a transaction that clients can immediately sense.

Now for the important stuff.

Lisa is a proud UConn graduate, a New Jersey native — something you’ll probably figure out within 30 seconds of meeting her — and a longtime lover of the Jersey Shore.

She also went to a Phish concert this summer.

So somewhere beneath 30 years of real estate experience and closing checklists, there’s apparently a jam-band fan. We did not see that coming.

Harbor Towers has been part of Boston’s skyline for more than 50 years. Designed by I.M. Pei & Partners during Boston’s waterfront revitalization, it remains one of the city’s most recognizable residential landmarks.

Every closing has a story. Some are first homes. Some are investments. And some are another chapter with clients who have placed their trust in us before.

We’re excited to introduce Lorraine Hayes, the newest associate attorney at Wise & Jack! 💼✨

Lorraine’s practice focuses on real estate law—helping buyers, sellers, lenders, and investors through residential and commercial transactions. (the whole tour). ✅

She earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, where she was a Division I cheerleader and the recipient of the prestigious Nizwonger Scholarship. (Yes, she’s impressive on paper and in real life.) 😄

And while she’s now living in East Boston, she’s originally from East Tennessee—so yes, she brings a little Southern charm to the closing table, y’all!

Welcome to the team, Danielle “Dani” Morena!

Dani joins Wise & Jack as our newest Paralegal, supporting our residential + commercial transactions from start to finish—opening files, drafting and reviewing documents, assembling settlement statements, and handling post-closing details with the accuracy and efficiency we love.

And the best part? Our clients already love her—because she’s responsive, organized, and somehow makes the closing process feel way less stressful.

She’s based in East Boston (with regular resets back home in Rye Beach, NH), is a 2024 St. Lawrence University grad (Political Science—in just three years 👏), and earned her Paralegal Certificate from Boston University.

Outside the office, Dani’s all about authentic Italian food and cheering on the Boston Bruins. 🏒🍝
