FORT WORTH, Texas — On June 12, 2026, the Texas Medical Board entered an Agreed Order (License No. U9214) concerning Lubbock plastic surgeon Thanapoom Boonipat, M.D. The order, which is a public record, resolves Board Staff charges that Dr. Boonipat failed to meet the standard of care in the treatment of two patients, improperly delegated anesthesia responsibilities to a licensed vocational nurse, and failed to maintain adequate medical records for three patients. Dr. Boonipat neither admitted nor denied the findings.

Sellers Law Firm, PC, a Fort Worth trial firm representing injured Texans, currently represents clients in four pending lawsuits against Dr. Boonipat. Those lawsuits contain allegations that have not yet been proven in a court of law, and Dr. Boonipat has not yet been found liable in any of them.
