TODAY IS THE DAY. Early voting starts NOW. 🗳️🔥

After everything we witnessed this month with the Supreme Court’s devastating ruling in Louisiana v. Callais — gutting the Voting Rights Act and attempting to silence Black voters — there has never been a more urgent moment to exercise the power they are trying to take from us.

They attacked our vote in the courtroom. We answer back at the ballot box.

The 2026 Texas Primary Runoff Election is HERE. Don’t sit this one out.

📅 Early Voting: May 18 – 22, 2026
📅 Election Day: May 26, 2026

Make a plan. Bring a friend. Show up. 💪🏾

Rooted in legacy. Focused on action. ✊🏾

In Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?, Martin Luther King Jr. reminds us that the Black Church, Black Press, Black fraternities & sororities, and Black professional organizations are pillars of our collective progress.

Now more than ever, we must bring those words to life.

Join us for Prayer, Power, and the Polls—a nonpartisan gathering of community and interfaith leaders committed to strengthening civic engagement and collective action. Together, we’ll reflect on the historic role of faith institutions—from the Civil Rights Movement to Selma—and share real strategies to mobilize our communities ahead of this critical election.

Let’s honor the legacy—and move forward with purpose.

The Supreme Court moved against us today. Now we move together. 🙏🏾✊🏾🗳️

Today, the Supreme Court issued a ruling in Louisiana v. Callais that guts Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act — one of the most critical protections Black voters have ever had. They want to silence our vote. They want to erase our representation. But we have never stopped fighting, and we are not about to start now.

This is exactly why we gather.

Join us for Prayer, Power & the Polls — a community and interfaith gathering to pray, organize, and mobilize in response to this moment.

All community and interfaith leaders are invited. Bring your faith. Bring your fire. Bring your community.
Because we fight in the courts. We fight in the legislatures. And we SHOW UP at the ballot box.
In the words of Justice Thurgood Marshall — this is our democracy. Make it. Protect it. Pass it on. 🔥
