We are thrilled to welcome Miguel Taboada to Brackett & Ellis!

Miguel is a proud graduate of Texas Christian University and earned his J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 2024. He focuses his practice on litigation, with an emphasis on professional liability and insurance defense matters.

Miguel was drawn to the legal profession by a desire to help people better understand the law and navigate complex challenges. What he enjoys most about practicing law is building relationships with clients and guiding them through difficult situations with compassion, clarity, and practical solutions.

Outside of the office, Miguel enjoys spending time at his family’s Mexican restaurant in Dallas. He and his wife, who is also an attorney, are excited to welcome their first child this July!

We are excited to have Miguel on our team and look forward to the experience, dedication, and perspective he brings to the firm. Please join us in welcoming him!

Please join us in welcoming Ifunanya Ngadi to Brackett & Ellis!
Ifunanya is a 2025 graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law and joins our firm with a primary focus on litigation and intellectual property law. She was drawn to the legal profession to pursue cybersecurity law, combining her passion for technology with her desire to help people and businesses protect their data from the bad guys.

She holds an undergraduate degree from UT Dallas in Information Technology & Systems, with a concentration in cybersecurity, giving her a strong technical foundation that enhances her legal practice. Her favorite parts of practicing law include solving complex problems, along with researching, drafting, and communicating with clients.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her playing video games, singing, or reading.

We’re excited to have her on board and look forward to the impact she’ll make for our clients and our team. Welcome, Ifunanya!

Several Brackett & Ellis employees recently served lunch at The Archway and spent meaningful time with families as they took part in a variety of planned activities. From rock painting and assembling bug jars to planting flowers and creating vision boards, every activity was a hit with both moms and kids.
Seeing the joy and excitement on the children’s faces was incredibly rewarding. The vision boards were an especially big hit—it was inspiring to watch moms and children enthusiastically work together to create visions for their futures. Moments like these truly showcase the impact of giving time and serving with purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this event such a success! 💙

Taylor is a 2017 graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law and focuses his practice on litigation. With a competitive nature, Taylor thrives on the challenges of litigation and especially enjoys motion practice, including crafting strong responses to plaintiffs’ motions.

When Taylor is not working, he can be found on the basketball court or at the bowling alley. His bowling team recently brought home 1st place in a tournament! Taylor deeply values time spent with family, especially with his niece and nephew.
