McDonald Sanders, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys Sean Carmichael and Benjamin Dockery, further strengthening the firm’s capabilities in litigation, business, and real estate matters.
Sean Carmichael brings a diverse practice that includes both litigation and transactional work, with experience in real estate, corporate, and business matters. He has represented clients through all phases of litigation, including jury and bench trials, summary judgments, and negotiated resolutions. In addition, he advises clients on business formation, corporate governance, buy-sell agreements, and real estate transactions, offering practical and efficient solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
Sean earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Texas Tech University School of Law. Prior to law school, he worked at the Texas Capitol during the 2015 legislative session. A Texas native, he now calls Fort Worth home, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Benjamin Dockery joins the firm with a strong background in civil litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitration proceedings. His practice includes representing contractors and businesses in construction disputes, as well as defending companies in direct and vicarious liability claims. Known for his meticulous, client-focused approach, Benjamin works closely with clients to develop tailored legal strategies and provide clear, well-reasoned guidance.
Originally from the Houston area, Benjamin began his legal career in Chicago at a respected regional civil litigation firm. He and his wife recently returned to Texas and are active members of the Fort Worth community.
“We are excited to welcome Sean and Benjamin to McDonald Sanders,” said John Wright, President of the firm. “Both bring strong experience, a commitment to client service, and a thoughtful approach to problem-solving that aligns with our firm’s values. Their addition reflects our continued growth and dedication to serving our clients and community.”
The addition of Sean and Benjamin reinforces McDonald Sanders’ commitment to delivering comprehensive legal services while continuing to build on its longstanding presence in Fort Worth.
