GUSTO, Inc. payment system is not recommended and they have terribly, strategically incompetent "support". Over six days I attempted to make payroll run. I was not told that I needed to initiate a wire transfer, that was completely omitted from "support". It was explained by my banking provider that a third-party cannot request a wire transfer, that it must come from the person who holds the account to wire the funds to the said payee. When I requested this information, I was told that is not how your system works. Prior to that I was asked about a wire transfer receipt. This is what left me confused about who requested the wire transfer. I was told that pay roll is not able to run for some reason by a totally checked out person and all I could do was repeat the same request, per banking. I first asked if there was an error and this was to be an ACH transfer. I was told "no" and that the initial transfer is a wire if amounts over $100K are being funded. I explained that my funding is closer to $12, 000, and got the same rationale as the $100K funder. I was given an array of non-solutions. I would not recommend this platform to enemies.
