RIP to these 5 home trends. The 2026 market is moving away from “temporary” and leaning hard into character. If you’re prepping to sell - or just bought - here’s what’s already aging out.

1. The “All Gray” Everything
The Millennial Gray era is officially over. We’re trading cold, sterile grays for warm mushrooms, rich ochres, and earthy tones that actually feel like a home.

2. Fast Furniture Aesthetics
Identical flat-pack sets are out. Curated, “found” pieces and quality vintage items are the new status symbol. Buyers can tell the difference.

3. Ultra Minimalist “Sad Beige”

Here are some of the biggest tips mortgage brokers want buyers to understand before purchasing a home:
