The zoo is government owned. I’ve been saying this for years. However, wait until they learn about all the other places you may carry.

A sign barring people from carrying guns into the Little Rock Zoo violates state law, Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin said in an opinion issued Thursday.

This is a really interesting case in Kentucky. A judge was impeached because she had 6 rulings in cases that the Kentucky State Congress disagreed with (and the Kentucky Supreme Court disagreed with those rulings as well). The Supreme Court of Kentucky has dismissed the impeachment as being improper and political.

I wonder if they will amend the constitution to let them impeach her. They probably have the votes, as it only takes 60% of the Congress and they voted 73% to impeach.

Listening to the oral arguments for the meaning of birthright citizenship. Based on the questions from the justices, at best, three justices appear to even possibly to be against children of “undocumented” or “illegal” immigrants obtaining birthright citizenship. However, even two of those justices don’t appear to be sold on the position. All parties seem to agree that when the 14th amendment was argued, written, and ratified they didn’t envision the world we have today.

“… but the same Constitution.” Chief Justice John Roberts.
I’m only an hour in and I don’t know how the justices will treat the opposing party.

Todd was charged with public intoxication, refusal to submit to arrest, and disorderly conduct. We beat all three charges but now he needs somebody to sue over it. I’m too busy to take this case at the moment, but his medical bills are over $30k and the stop is blatantly illegal. He wasn’t even arguably guilty of any crime he was charged with.

You want an easy lawsuit in Fort Smith, Arkansas?
A bar fight got the cops called to a local bar. Sgt. Martin showed up, and body-slammed the first person he saw, who was 62 year old Todd Gunnels.
Broken ribs, broken teeth, fractured wrist, and Todd still went to jail in spite of having nothing to do with the bar fight.

If you were convicted of a misdemeanor DWI prior to July 2021, the Court of Appeals has said you can get it sealed without having to wait 10 years.
I’ve been saying this for years. Sounds like every judgeI asked and they denied owes my clients a seal.
