Honored to recognize the extraordinary legacy of Lynn Futch with the Weir Fellowship of Distinction for Women Pioneers in Law Award. ⚖️✨

A proud graduate of Florida State University and Florida State University College of Law, Lynn dedicated her life to the practice of law, public service, and her community. From serving as General Counsel for the Broward Sheriff’s Office to leading both the Broward County Bar Association and the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, her impact on the legal profession was profound.

Lynn was a mentor, advocate, volunteer, leader, and devoted mother whose compassion and commitment touched every organization and person fortunate enough to know her. Her service to Legal Aid, Women in Distress, Habitat for Humanity, Broward Lawyers Care, and countless community initiatives reflected a life dedicated to lifting others up.

As written so beautifully in her honor, “she was a gifted lawyer, a person of great beauty and wisdom, and most importantly our friend.” Her legacy continues to inspire women in law to lead with courage, grace, and purpose.
