Veterans court is a proactive and innovative way to treat the warriors of this country who have difficulties transitioning into civilian life. I have had many cases where my clients have taken advantage of the opportunity to get the help that they need. As the article points out, this is not a "get out of jail free card." It is earning a fair outcome. Treatment courts such as these look to the reasons for crime and treat them rather than warehousing people.

It is a long and expensive process to try to get the property back. It puts the person in the position of having to justify where they got the money or property. If you are caught with a large amount of cash, you will need to explain its origins. Possessing Cash has now become suspicious and criminal.
