Lead with Purpose: A New Chapter at MDGLCC
In July 2025, Lisette Garcia officially became Executive Director of the Greater Miami LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce (MDGLCC), following Steve Adkins' 25-year legacy. But Lisette wasn’t new—she had already helped shape the Chamber as Director of Programs and External Affairs with a deep focus on collaboration, innovation, and inclusion.
Her appointment came after months of quietly guiding strategy and supporting the leadership transition. Under her watch, 2024 and 2025 became two of the Chamber’s most dynamic years.

Rooted in advocacy and visibility, MDGLCC continues to evolve with a digital-first strategy and stronger outreach. “This isn’t my Chamber—it’s ours,” Lisette says. “We lead together.”
