Broward County Red light camera update:
Today, the Fourth District Court of Appeal rejected the City of Hollywood's desperate attempt to have the Appellate court reverse the decision of City of Hollywood v. Arem, which opined that the the agreement with ATS and the City resulted in an unlawful delegation of police powers. You can see the order denying the City's request for rehearing, rehearing en banc, and request to certify the matter to the Florida Supreme Court below. I am sure that the Ticket Clinic, whom I was working on behalf of when fighting the appeal, will continue to fight the City and ATS! If you need an experienced Broward appellate lawyer, call Jason T. Forman at 954-527-5557 to see how he can help you on your criminal appeal, motion for post-conviction relief (3.850 motion), motion to vacate plea, or if you have a pending criminal felony or misdemeanor in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County Florida.
