THE VERDICT IS IN: shareholder Patrick C. Howell and attorneys Jake Herrel and John Windle secured a $1.8 million jury verdict for homeowners in a construction defect case involving a luxury beachfront single-family home in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. The jury awarded the full measure of damages sought at trial. Combined with pretrial settlements, the homeowners' total recovery will exceed $2 million, resolving an eight-year dispute.
