Another major victory for a client—and a reminder that personal jurisdiction matters.
Our firm represented an out-of-state defendant sued in Broward County Circuit Court. After the trial court denied our Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction, we took the issue up on appeal.
Today, the Fourth District Court of Appeal reversed the trial court’s order and remanded with instructions to DISMISS the complaint for lack of personal jurisdiction.
This result underscores the importance of early, strategic motion practice and experienced appellate advocacy—especially when Florida courts lack authority over out-of-state defendants.
Proud to deliver results for our clients at both the trial and appellate levels.
