Caroline Carrara, Sales Manager at Balistreri Real Estate branch in Fort Lauderdale, has enjoyed more than 16 successful years of real estate management, which has included supporting and mentoring many agents to reach the next level in their careers. The current office she leads at Balistreri comprises more than 40 agents who are involved in residential and commercial real estate sales and leasin
g in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. A native of London, Caroline brings the experience of both living and working internationally to her practice in South Florida, a region that is becoming more diverse and cosmopolitan with each passing day. She recently has become C2EX endorsed by the National Association of Realtors, a distinction she shares with only approximately 1,500 Realtors. Caroline is also a member of the prestigious Master Brokers Forum. The leadership she shows in Fort Lauderdale office and in professional development mirrors the leadership roles she has played in the industry. In 2020, she serves on the Corporate Board of Directors for the Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors, the state’s third-largest Realtor group, with more than 33,000 members. She has held various leadership positions in that organization, as well as Greater Fort Lauderdale Realtors, where she has been vice-president, director, and treasurer. She is active in the Florida Realtors Association, and participated in promotional efforts on behalf of Realtors, both in Tallahassee and Washington DC. She was a director of the National Association of Realtors in 2018, and in 2019 served on its Professional Standards Committee. This year she is honored to serve on the board of directors of the Master Broker Forum – Gold Coast Chapter. Established in 1993, the Master Brokers Forum is a unique organization comprised of South Florida’s top residential real estate professionals. MBF is limited to the county’s most successful real estate professionals and is by invitation only. Prior to her real estate career, Caroline managed boutique hotels in Miami Beach for more than 10 years. There, she was heavily involved in its Chamber of Commerce, Entertainment and Hospitality Committees and the South Beach Hotel and Restaurant Association. “I loved rolling up my sleeves and digging into all Miami Beach had to offer. Having lived in Europe, South America and New York, I related to people from all over the world who came to claim their corner of our incredible sunshine.”
As a resident of South Florida since 1995, Caroline has had the opportunity to watch the real estate market and skyline evolve and develop into what it is today. “I have had the opportunity to work in New York City, Miami, and Nicaragua, all during times of tremendous growth and change.” This laid a solid foundation for Caroline’s career in Real Estate Management in South Florida. South Florida is the perfect backdrop in which to raise her son, London, who graduated from middle school as Valedictorian. He also enjoys basketball, X-box gaming, and is known among his peers as a “foodie.” Like his mother, he counts his blessings and likes to give back to his community. He currently volunteers for the Historic Stranahan House on Las Olas Boulevard and Las Olas Capital Arts.
