Happy late Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mothers. (sorry a day late but I try to stay off of social media on the weekend)

Goodmorning! My hope is that you honor the “AND” of me as I strive to honor the “AND” of my clients.♥️

I recognize that my clients are not simply humans dealing with legal issues. They are spiritual beings, in human form, walking through life just like me, with some days easier than others.

Today I have 4 court hearings, 2 conferences and 2 scheduled phone meetings.

That’s a lot of lawyering for one day. I also have 2 kiddos with dentist appointments 😳

AND although practicing law is a part of what I do on a daily basis, I also mother on a daily basis AND wife😉 on a daily basis too.

Lately I’ve been working on honoring the “AND” of me.

So today after my 1st court hearing and 1st scheduled meeting with a client I honored the “AND” with a 30 minute spin class.

My hope is that all humans, I come into contact with, including my clients, honor their “AND.”

You can be “This AND That.”

People need to see mirrors, not just windows. 🙌🏾

My hope is when you the darker skinned human, 1st generational college graduate, the woman who has struggled through infertility, the minority in the courtroom, the overlooked and underrated, the woman who is exhausted, the human struggling with self-doubt, the wife fighting for her marriage, the 1st generational attorney, the mother who is battling anxiety, the one who is the ONLY one who looks like you on the Zoom call... at the interview... or at the table.....

I hope you look at me and see a mirror. I hope you see the reflection of all your possibilities.
